Over the last 2 years Damien Martin has suffered some of the greatest highs and lows this sport has to offer, scoring epic waves, a board model, mag covers and spreads, and has also made a full recovery following a horrific back injury.

This week Damo celebrates another high as he is named as the IBA local Wild Card for the 2013 South Coast Crusade, a fantastic achievement considering his many local peers and contemporaries.
