Beau was one of the most promising young professional bodyboarders back then. It was all going to plan, until one day, at a local wedge, he broke his back. Big setback! Slowly but surely, Beau built strength in his spine and began to bodyboard again. Slowly but surely getting back to where he left off.

Beau always had a little bit of mystique about him and was very underground and under-rated. Some of the top guys in the sport, today, were his peers and rivals and actually sourced their own copies of this video to see where Beaus surfing had come to.
